Twitter and Tweetdeck have gone down for a large number ofusers mostly in Canada and Japan.

"We've been experiencing outages across Twitter andTweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, orviewing DMs. We're currently working on a fix, and should be back to normalsoon," the company said in a tweet. Users in India too faced problems withuploading pictures. Several complained they could not see global and nationaltrends on their windows.

More than 4,000 reports of the outage have been receivedfrom Japan, Canada as reported by outage monitoring website Outage, The Sunreported.

During the outage, Tweetdeck redirected users to thestandard Twitter screen.As per report, a Twitter representative had earliertold that the company was investigating issues with TweetDeck, which is used byreporters and other content creators for monitoring tweets from multipleTwitter accounts.

Meanwhile, it appears to be working fine in India as of now.
